This was an assignment at school recently, to write a first person report on Acts 10.
Today I had my first assignment! I was called up and the Lord said to me "Young one, go to a man named Cornelius and tell him to seek a man called Peter." I had heard of this "Peter" and knew this job was a big one. I changed form and got taller and then went to Caesarea's market and bought a big, golden bracelet to put over my head. (for some reason everyone expects angels to have a halo) I also bought some fake wings. Then I went to Cornelius' house and, well, I did what I was told (I'm such an angel). The guy seemed freaked out. He said he would look for Peter and I left and threw the wings and fake halo away.
I thought that I was done for the day when I was called up again! The Lord told me to go up to Peter with some other guys with a huge sheet full of stuffed animals and go tell Peter he could eat all of them if he wanted. We did. Peter refused three times (this guy has a thing with the number three). Then we went back home and thought we were a failure, but later we heard that Peter met with Cornelius and then told people about eating meat and meeting people. So I guess we weren't a failure after all.
